It’s not easy to find out about the annual food and wine festival
that supports Huntington Hospital There’s almost no advertising budget for it and the tickets almost sell out long before the web site is created. Yet
the Fall Food & Wine Festival is one of the hottest events of the year in Pasadena.
For the last 27 years, residents of Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley have looked forward to the annual Fall Food & Wine Festival, one of the highlights of the season. Held on the festive grounds between the Parkway Grill and the Arroyo Chop House in Pasadena, proceeds from the event benefit the Huntington Hospital Trauma Center, the only trauma center in the San Gabriel Valley.
The 28th annual festival returns this year on Sunday to the parking
lot between the Parkway Grill and Arroyo Chop House at 510 S. Arroyo Pkwy., Pasadena on October 28 from 5-9pm.
Besides offering
food from Gregg and Bob Smith’s restaurants (Arroyo Chop House, Parkway
Grill, CafĂ© 140 and the new Cheval Blanc), you’re likely to be able to
sample from such regulars as Gale’s, Marston’s and Maison Akira. The
music is always great, the crowd is fun, and the cause is good. It
typically sells out early.
