FREEDOM FEST JULY 13-16 AT PLANET HOLLYWOOD

FreedomFest is an annual festival where free minds meet to celebrate “great books, great ideas, and great thinkers” in an open-minded society. It is independent, non-partisan, and not affiliated with any organization or think tank. Founded and produced by Mark Skousen since 2002, FreedomFest invites the “best and the brightest” from around the world to talk, strategize, socialize, and celebrate liberty. FreedomFest is open to all and is purely egalitarian, where speakers, attendees, and exhibitors are treated as equals.  The Washington Post called it “the greatest libertarian show on earth.”

FreedomFest 2015 will be July 13-16, 2016 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, 3667 S Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89109

FreedomFest is open to anyone who enjoys a wide interest in books, art, music, film, and drama in all topics, including science, philosophy, economics, health, sports, technology, business, religion, law, and politics. FreedomFest attracts people of all walks of life and across the political spectrum to learn, debate and honor great books, great ideas, and great thinkers.

FreedomFest 2015 will have over 200 different speakers (the full list of speakers is at this link) speaking in over 125 general sessions, debates, panels, lectures and other presentations (the full schedule is at the link).

Highlights of the 2015 FreedomFest include:

·         The “Knockout Entrepreneur” George Foreman is coming to FreedomFest! After his incredible journey and true comeback story of regaining his boxing title of heavy-weight champion at 45, Foreman proved that no matter what your limitations, you can come back swinging. Which is why Foreman is the perfect speaker for this year’s theme “Freedom Rising.” His career didn’t end after he became the oldest heavyweight champion in history, as he continued to rise in other arenas, and became one of the most successful entrepreneurs with the invention of the Foreman Grill. His keynote speech on ‘The Art of Fighting in Business and Life‘ is not to be missed!

·         Judge Napolitano is the speaker most requested by FreedomFest attendees. He will talk about the most critical election of the 21st century. As an outspoken libertarian, he has declared that President Obama should be tried for high treason, and that Republican candidate Donald Trump’s immigration policies violate the Constitution. A devout Catholic, he has nevertheless been a strong critic of Pope Francis for “leading his flock to a dangerous place, where there is more central planning and less personal liberty.”

·         Mock Trial: Global Warming on Trial:  “Global Warming on Trial” with  Judge Kennedy (Fox Business). James Taylor (formerly of the Heartland Institute) will be the prosecuting attorney and Michael Shermer (bestselling author and columnist at Scientific American) the defending attorney. Star witnesses against global warming are Will Happer (retired physicist from Princeton) and Patrick Michaels (Director of the Study of Science at Cato and past president of the American Association of State Climatologists). Star witnesses defending global warming are Kerry Emmanuel (an MIT physicist who is a conservative Republican) and Michael Pravica (popular Harvard-trained scientist at UNLV). Not to be missed!

·         Senator Rand Paul is returning to Freedom Fest on July 15  to speak on his new book, “Taking a Stand: Moving Beyond Partisan Politics,” to be followed by an autograph session.
