The Grand Decant brought wine connoisseurs together with all
levels of sommeliers at the modern Hotel Intercontinental. The
San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival offered rare tickets for the public to attend
the grand tasting for the Sommcon large scale Trade Tasting held annually in
San Diego for members of the trade and local wine enthusiasts to taste hundreds
of wine, beer, and spirits and meet wine makers and importers.
Sommcon is a 3 day conference for
professional sommeliers and vintnors. The Grant Decant offered access to hundreds of exceptional, amazing
wines. Famous wine makers were pouring their own wines! Many of the wines were gold and silver medal winner in national and international wine competitions.
The Friday night tasitng is followed on Saturday by the GRAND TASTING
NOVEMBER 16 on the water in Embarcadero Marina Park.
