Experiences at 40th Concorso Italiano in Monterey

The 40th Anniversary of Concorso Italiano was nothing short of spectacular—a true celebration of Italian automotive passion, heritage, and community. From the moment of entry, guests were welcomed with an atmosphere of elegance and enthusiasm. The organization was seamless, the grounds beautifully laid out, and the energy unforgettable.. People came dressed comfortably, ready to spend the day with their families, their friends, and their cars.

The Cars & Restorers

The show field stretched endlessly with rows of Alfa Romeos, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Fiats, and more—each one telling a story. What made the day so special were the owners and restorers standing proudly beside their cars. Many had spent years bringing their vehicles back to life, and when awards were handed out for the best restorations, you could see the pride in their eyes. It wasn’t just about shiny paint or polished chrome—it was about preserving history with heart and skill.
It was not just a show, but a living bridge between eras, where past craftsmanship met modern ingenuity. For Alfistas especially, the event felt like home: a reunion of spirit, where the act of restoration was celebrated as an inheritance of passion.

Community & Atmosphere

Concorso Italiano felt less like a car show and more like a family reunion. Enthusiasts of all ages—from long-time Collectors to kids just learning what a carburetor is—came together in one big community. The air was filled with laughter, lively conversations, and the sense that everyone was part of something bigger than themselves. Even if you didn’t own an Italian car, you could still feel the passion and take inspiration home to your own garage.

Food, Fun, & Family

The culinary offerings were as vibrant as the cars themselves—delicious, plentiful, and reflective of Italy’s love for food as art. Families gathered not just around cars but around tables, enjoying authentic flavors that completed the cultural immersion. The 40th edition swag bags were a hit too—blankets, posters, Magellan’s car care items—little souvenirs that will keep this memory alive.

Final Word

Concorso Italiano 40 was more than just a showcase of Italian cars—it was a celebration of passion, craftsmanship, and community. Whether you came for the Alfa Romeo Spiders, the Ferrari legends, or just to soak in the atmosphere, there was something here for every enthusiast.

Five stars for the cars, the people, the food, and most importantly, the unforgettable sense of family and welcome.

We’re already looking forward to Concorso Italiano 2026, knowing it will bring us back together to celebrate the passion that keeps automotive history alive.
